# Salt and Chilli Chips

## Ingredients

### Spice Mix

- 1 tsp MSG
- 1 tsp five spice
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 0.5 tsp hot chilli powder
- 0.5 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt

### Main

- 500 g chips
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 piece onion, sliced (large)
- 1 piece bell pepper, sliced (green or red)
- 1 piece chilli, finely chopped
- 2 clove garlic, minced

## Cookware

- bowl
- air fryer
- wok
- frying pan

## Instructions

1. Mix all the spices, sugar, and salt together in a small bowl.
2. Cook 500g of chips according to package instructions in an air fryer if you have one for extra crispiness.
3. While the chips are cooking, heat the 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat.
4. Stir-fry the 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 1 fresh chilli, and 2 cloves of garlic for 2 minutes, up to 3 minutes, until softened but still crisp.
5. Add the cooked chips to the wok.
6. Sprinkle the spice mix over the chips and veg, tossing vigorously to coat everything evenly.
7. Serve immediately.
