Piri Piri Chicken Burger

A spicy and juicy chicken burger marinated in piri piri sauce, topped with grilled peppers and onions.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast (flattened)
  • 6 tbsp of peri peri sauce
  • 0.5 red onion (chopped)
  • 1 red pepper (sliced)
  • 2 bap
  • mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts between two sheets of cling film and flatten with a tenderizer.
  2. Put the chicken in a bowl and pour over the peri peri sauce. Leave to marinate for at least .
  3. Preheat a griddle pan over a medium heat. Cook the red onion and pepper for . Remove them and keep warm.
  4. Fry the chicken for on each side or until cooked through.
  5. Toast the burger baps, add mayonnaise, lettuce, chicken, and top with the onion and pepper.
  6. Serve with chips.
