# Piri Piri Chicken Burger

> A spicy and juicy chicken burger marinated in piri piri sauce, topped with grilled peppers and onions.

## Ingredients

- 2 chicken breast, flattened
- 6 tbsp peri peri sauce
- 0.5 red onion, chopped
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 2 bap
- mayonnaise
- lettuce
- chips

## Cookware

- cling film
- tenderizer
- bowl
- griddle pan

## Instructions

1. Place 2 chicken breasts between two sheets of cling film and flatten with a tenderizer.
2. Put the chicken in a bowl and pour over the 6 tbsp of peri peri sauce. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat a griddle pan over a medium heat. Cook the 0.5 red onion and 1 pepper for 3.5 minutes. Remove them and keep warm.
4. Fry the chicken for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
5. Toast the 2 burger baps, add mayonnaise, lettuce, chicken, and top with the onion and pepper.
6. Serve with chips.
