- 3 slices of bacon (chopped)
- 700ml of milk
- 50g of butter
- 50g of plain flour
- 200g of cheddar cheese (grated)
- parmesan (grated) – for topping

Instructions
- Boil the macaroni in a saucepan.
- Fry the bacon in a frying pan.
- Heat the milk in the microwave.
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Stir the plain flour into the melted butter and cook it for .
- Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.
- Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Mix in the cooked pasta.
- Transfer to an oven dish.
- Mix in the bacon.
- Sprinkle with the parmesan.
- Place under the grill until crispy.
