# Creamy Cajun Orzo

> A flavorful and creamy one-pan style pasta dish featuring diced chicken, burst tomatoes, and a bold Cajun spice blend.

## Ingredients

- 500 g chicken breast, diced
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cajun powder
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 240 g orzo
- 200 ml almond milk
- 130 g baby tomatoes, chopped
- 240 g light cream cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp plain flour

## Cookware

- frying pan
- kettle
- saucepan

## Instructions

1. Season the 500g of chicken with 1 tsp of salt, half of the 1 tbsp of cajun powder, and half of the 1 tbsp of paprika.
2. In a frying pan, cook the seasoned chicken for approximately 8 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, boil water in a kettle to cook the 240g of orzo.
4. Add the 200ml of almond milk and 130g of baby tomatoes to the chicken.
5. Stir in the 240g of light cream cheese and allow it to melt.
6. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of cajun powder, 1 tbsp of paprika, and 1 tsp of garlic powder.
7. Cook the orzo in a saucepan according to package directions.
8. Simmer the sauce for approximately 10 minutes, slowly whisking in the 1 tbsp of plain flour during that time to thicken.
9. Once the sauce has thickened, combine it with the cooked orzo in the saucepan or frying pan.
